When you have the ability to see peoples' emotional states, being in a crowd is like being assaulted by incoherent chaotic rainbows. Then add to that the fact that you've been trained from infancy to kill and experiencing other people's emotions becomes a massive liability. While killing might not come easily, obedience does and that's all that's required to be an assassin for Fall Intergalactic, absolute obedience.

Yet, obeying is becoming more and more difficult ever since the rebels started gaining the upper hand in the war against the corporate government headed by Fall Intergalactic. Poisoned, sick and losing control of his powers, the assassin for Fall Intergalactic finds himself becoming more of a pawn than ever in the fight over systems. Now even the Hyperia is risking full out war by making incursions into Incorporated Space trying to destroy him.

But someone wants him alive and for their own purposes.
